This summer do not turn off the air conditioning in your house, then leave and return to turn it back on, and expect it to cool your house anytime soon. Doing this will not allow the unit to cool down the house for many hours. It is better to set the temperature up five degrees but do not cut it off. This is because of Latent heat buildup in the walls and furniture in the house and will make the air conditioning work harder to remove the heat and this takes a long time.
