Why Advertise on the Internet?
Internet is the Media of Choice:
The Online Publishers Association (OPA), in conjunction with
Frank N. Magid Associates, Inc., released their Generational
Media Study, finding the Internet has edged out TV as the
medium of choice for 18 to 54-year-olds. Further, the Internet
ranks highly across generations when compared to more traditional
forms of media such as radio, newspapers and magazines. Internet
topped TV, Radio & Newspaper as the medium of choice
for 18 to 54-year-olds.

Yellow Book Competes with Local Search:
54% of consumers have substituted Internet search in place of
the phone book. (2006)
Online marketing and
local search advertising, is expected to grow from $4.1 billion in 2006
to $11.1 billion in 2011 (22.3 percent CAGR). Kelsey Group executive
Matt Booth states that the growth will be boosted by small and medium
sized businesses that currently advertise in the print editions of phone
directories. These companies will target online directory ads in a more
cost effective way to boost their name recognition.

Your Customers Are Online:
Studies
show the two big reasons why 74% of consumers are choosing
to do their local search for products and services online
is because the Internet is both convenient and informative.
With the internet being so available through computers at
work and home, the booming sales of portable laptops, and
finally the newest trend of mobile internet devices; the
internet is simply convenient. Then when compared to the
eye catching and informative real-time information found
on the Internet; the outdated style of the printed yellow
book just does not compare.

94m American Adults On-line Everyday:
Of the over 94 million Americans online daily an average of
63% are involved in a local consumer search for products
or services in their area. This growing number of local consumers
going to the Internet has provided a new opportunity for
business owners to present themselves to a local live audience
within a local sales area.
